Lost - Days 3, 4 , 5

Good intentions of accomplishing a painting a day for 30 days this new year,  sidelined by a terrible chest cold.  I have not had the energy to paint and am likely be overcome with a coughing attack if I attempted it. Tomorrow?   Oh well!  Here is a painting from the past for Throwback Thursday  ;)

This canvas pad was very rough even with extra gesso applied.  I found it difficult to paint the smaller details with any accurancy because the brush skipped over the rough surface.  Will move on to smoother panels I think.

Quince

Happy New Years!  It is day 1 of Thirty Paintings in Thirty Days!  I hope I can keep up the pace as I am fighting a flu/cold bug right now ;(  What a way to start the year!  But I am still standing and painting so here we go.

I have upgraded to Windows 10 which does not support my scanner (just found out today!) so the photo is from my phone and and has glare.  Oh well - I will replace when I figure out the scanner thing.
